FOREST HERBICIDES: NEW SCIENCE & PRODUCT UPDATES
We continue to develop strategies for advanced pine silviculture. The Western Gulf region has it's own unique set of challenges and considerations to successfully and effectively manage for pine timber.
The conference goal is to provide you with new silvicultural strategies for increased productivity and newly developed tools that will aid in resource assessment and the management decision process.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The Western Gulf Silvicultural Technology Exchange is geared towards professional foresters working in the Western Gulf region (Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas). Forest landowners with an intermediate understanding of silviculture will also benefit from this event.
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
• 5.5 hours of Category 1-CF credit through the Society of American Foresters
• 7 CEUs (6 general and 1 Laws & Regulations) for the Texas Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator License
• Recertification of Louisiana Commercial Pesticide Applicator holding certification in General Standards (GS), General Forestry Pest Control (2a), and Forest, Tree, Seed Orchards & Nurseries (2b)
